Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) (formerly referred to generally as Fetal Alcohol Syndrome) is not intended for use as a clinical diagnosis. It refers to conditions such as fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS), fetal alcohol effects (FAE), alcohol-related neurodevelopmental disorder (ARND), and alcohol-related birth defects (ARBD). The bad news is that as many as 40,000 babies are born with FASD each year. The good news is that it is 100% preventable. The below links are provided in an effort to help prevent FASD from happening to your baby.
